About Tampereen Sisu

Tampereen Sisu is one of Finland’s leading gymnastics clubs, offering high-quality recreational sports and competitive gymnastics opportunities for participants of all ages. From young children taking their first steps in gymnastics to dedicated athletes striving for excellence, we provide a safe, inspiring, and goal-oriented environment for everyone.

The club offers recreational and competitive activities in five different disciplines:

Discounts

Families with more than one child participating in the club’s competitive groups are eligible for sibling discounts:

  • First sibling: 15% discount
  • Second sibling: 25% discount

Sibling discounts cannot be combined with other discounts and do not apply to additional training groups. Notification of eligibility must be sent to laskutus@tampereensisu.fi when the sibling joins the competitive group. Discounts are not granted retroactively.

Athletes participating in two competitive disciplines receive a 40% discount on the less expensive sport.

 

Billing and payments

For recreational groups, payment is made upon registration. If payment is not completed within one hour, the registration will be automatically cancelled.

Recreational competition groups are invoiced monthly. Training fees are annual fees divided evenly throughout the year, regardless of variations in the number of training sessions during individual billing periods.

Competitive groups are also billed monthly, with invoices issued before the beginning of the next billing period. Training fees are distributed evenly throughout the year.

 

Cancellations

Recreational Competition Groups

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to:

In cases of illness, refunds are granted only for full calendar months upon presentation of a valid medical certificate.

Competitive Groups

Cancellation of a competition group place must be reported to the group’s responsible coach or sport manager and to laskutus@tampereensisu.fi.

If cancellation occurs during a billing period, refunds are only provided for remaining full calendar months. Retroactive cancellations are not refunded. Medical certificates are required for illness-related refunds.

Cancellations related to competitions, camps, or illness certificates must be sent to:

Notification must be made no later than the day of the event.

Force majeure

If training sessions or competition events cannot be organized due to force majeure or circumstances beyond the control of Tampereen Sisu ry, participation and training fees will not be refunded.

 

Membership Fees

Support children’s and youth sports by becoming a Tampereen Sisu Support Member.

  • Adults: €25.00

Becoming a member

To become an ordinary member, register in the MyClub membership system and complete your contact details. After registration, send a message to laskutus@tampereensisu.fi, and a membership fee invoice will be issued.

Participants in recreational activities automatically receive a membership fee invoice when paying the participation fee.

The club’s Board of Directors makes official membership decisions annually in January.

 

Photography and Media Policy

When creating a MyClub account, participants or their guardians are asked to choose whether they grant permission for photography and the use of images and videos.

Please do not give photography consent if you do not wish to appear in Tampereen Sisu’s marketing, communication, or promotional materials, including social media, websites, printed materials, and other club publications.

For photography and filming at public events, Tampereen Sisu follows applicable legislation and regulations concerning event photography and the publication of images.
